Well Marin just survived her first roundtrip plane flight to California where we hung out with the family for a week. Grammy and Grandpa loved playing with her and Marin had the joy of being held almost the entire time - not a bad deal. She did have a hard time sleeping at night and was completely thrown off schedule which is no fun, but she made it. It was a shock for me to wake up several times at night to feed her because she normally sleeps through the night. I think sleeping in the same room messed with her (and me). It was fun to watch how much she developed while we were there - she started grabbing things (kind of) and was able to focus really well with her eyes. We also discovered that she really loved swinging on the porch swing.
Here's Great Aunt Dana, First Cousin Once Removed Amy, Great Grandma Vanderhoof, Marinny-inny, Grammy and me - how's that for a lineup?
Grammy said that Marin must be on a "Caifornia growth spurt" because she ate constantly and did seem to put on a few pounds while we were there.
Here's Grandpa with his 2 loves!
