I was expecting our camera back this week so I called the repair place to check on it. Turns out that they had just started working on it and it would be 7-10 days to make repairs and then another 5 days to get it shipped back to us. Not thrilling news considering that I'm having camera withdrawals and really want to put some new pics on the blog.
Marinny is doing well and is still oblivious to the fact that she has a brother on the way. I try to tell her that I have a baby in my tummy but she thinks I'm just talking about my belly button, which she is obsessed with. Jeremy is at a conference in Denver until Tuesday night so we're home alone until then. We did some pool time this morning with grandma which was great fun for Marin and then had the pleasure of watching her favorite TV show - the Lawrence Welk Show! I am always amazed at the purity and simplicity of that show. We would never see shows made like that today. One song was about a girl who wanted her man to buy her frankfurter sandwiches instead of jewels or other treats. And we had the pleasure of watching a piano solo from the queen of ragtime who was "a big hit at state and county fairs". There were the usual tap dances and other lively songs to entertain us as well. I used to be annoyed by the silliness but now I kind of enjoy it. Marin likes it, that's for sure.

hey guys! we just started a blog, but have been keeping track of y'alls through the morrison's. congratulations on your soon to be new arrival! we are very excited to find out the news. it sounds like marin and elie are very close in age. our new one is 2 months on tuesday so will also be close to your little boy! hope you are feeling well!
