Trick or Treat

Can I just say, as a side note, that it's clear I've been busy because I haven't checked any of my friend's blogs in weeks (and that's saying something).

We went to Skip and Devon's last night to go trick-or-treating with them in their neighborhood and it was WAY more fun than I expected. Marin was a trooper (and may have even had fun) and she made it all the way around their neighborhood loop. When we got back to the house she just plopped on the kitchen floor in utter exhaustion. It's no wonder because she ran around like crazy the whole time and got away from us more than once. Devon said she should dress like a marathon runner next year. We (mom and dad) got lots of candy to enjoy (nothing like stealing candy from a baby) and as of a few hours ago, I had depleted her candy bag of Snickers. Here's our ladybug.

Before dressing up, we tried to take some family pictures down by the lake.

Jonathan and Marin just wanted to play in the dirt - notice Marin's hands. Marin showed her love for Jon Jon by throwing dirt on him.
