I took Marin to our Church's Christmas festival and it was fun although exhausting for me because I was chasing after her the whole time. I observed all the other children waiting in line with their parents and behaving like children should while Marin ran around at full speed only looking back occasionally to see if I was behind her.
Here she is playing in our backyard. I've told many of you about our "mystery grass" and how it has this alien sub-world (it would take me too long to explain it). I don't really like playing in it very much but I've found that now that it's winter and the grass has gone dormant, somehow the strangeness of the sub-world has gone away and it's more like normal grass. I was glad to make this discovery because it's so much nicer to play in when it's dormant. Can I just say that Marin is changing so much! She is talking up a storm and singing all the time. When I put her to bed at night she'll often just sit in there and sing for awhile until she falls asleep. She is a very vocal child that's for sure.

And here are some more ridiculously cute pictures of the little man. He smiles at us all the time now and he has started doing these little chuckles that are just too cute!
