Trick-Or-Treat

Ok, Grammy taught Marin the word "Thief". As in, Mommy's a thief for stealing your Halloween candy. How much candy does a 2 year old need anyway? By the way, I didn't steal all her candy. Some of it I gave away to trick-or-treaters who came to our door after I had run out.
Anyway, she had fun cleaning out her first pumpkin and watching mommy carve it (which is much harder than I remember).

In true Granimal fashion, Graham immediately ripped off his tiger hat which left him looking less like a tiger and more like a boy in striped pajamas. Oh well. Here he is ripping it off.

We went to our neighborhood's Halloween parade where we marched around the block behind a firetruck. It was out of control and super crowded. We couldn't even see the firetruck. Marin's friend Audrey was there to share in the fun. I've been saying for a year that Marin has to be a marathon runner for Halloween in honor of her running-mania. It's just fitting.

I don't know if you can see it, but the girls are staring at the boy dressed like a hunter and holding a RIFLE. No one's running for their life. The parents are probably saying, "Oh, look at Tommy and his adorable costume." Only in Texas.
