Mema and Papa's 60th Anniversary

We were in Lindale the weekend before Christmas for their 60th! I can't imagine living 'til 60, not to mention being married that long. We had a party for the ever-spry couple at their church and got to hear some childhood stories from siblings and friends. And as usual we stayed at the ranch, which is always fun for us city folk.

One morning we went on an adventure through the woods with Madalyn and Andy pointing the way...

built bridges over small streams...

wandered through the forest...

and eventually found the lake.

Graham, who thought we were on a dinosaur hunt (he really did), finally gave up his search and had fun throwing sticks in the water.
