My little girl is 4!

I can't believe my little girl is 4! The older she gets, the more I love her and am so thankful to have her in this family. She's still as feisty as ever but with a little more self control this year. And she's started this new thing where she stops and says, "Mom, you're a really great mom." I feel an enormous responsibility to be this great mom to my little one, despite how busy or stressful life seems, and to point her to God in all I do. Not just with my words, but with my whole being. I thank God that His love for her and care for her life is far beyond what I can provide and I rest in entrusting her to Him who is able to keep her from falling and to present her before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy (Jude 24).

We had a little party for her and we were fortunate enough to have warm weather and no rain! I didn't ever think she would be able to have a party outside in January, but I was mistaken. They played, ate, decorated their own cupcakes, Marin opened presents and then they played some more.

Don't parents tell their kids to stay away from adults who try to play with them on the playground? Stranger Danger.
