Chuck E. Cheese, Really?

I never thought I would say it, but I took my daughter to Chuck E Cheese for her birthday. And it really wasn't bad. In fact, it was easy on me, fun for the kids and not too crowded. I'm a fan. The poor Chuck E Cheese man was swarmed with kids trying to hug him to no end. He tried several times to wave goodbye and walk away, but that didn't disuade the kids one bit. They wouldn't let him leave.
We had a small party with just a few friends and it was really fun. Marin even got her purple cupcakes with snakes on them. For those who haven't heard, she started saying around Christmas time that she wanted purple cupcakes with snakes on them for her birthday. Who knows where she came up with that idea but it was stuck in her head for a month so I felt like I really had to do it. A little food coloring and some gummy worms did the trick.
Here's the, "blank stare with a hint of a smile" that Marin gets when she's on a fun overload.
Blowing out candles on the purple cupcakes with snakes on them.

And Graham, well he's always up for a party!

Even the big kids had fun.
